Common Questions

Before you book.

What should I wear?
Solid colors and classic cuts photograph best. Avoid busy patterns, visible logos, and bright white. You will receive a full wardrobe guide when you book, and we will go through your options on the pre-session call.
How long until I receive my images?
Standard delivery is within 48 hours of your image selection. Executive clients receive priority 24 hour turnaround. You will get a private proofing gallery link first so you can choose your selects.
Do I need hair and makeup done beforehand?
Recommended, not required. For branding sessions, professional hair and makeup makes a meaningful difference in the final images. I am happy to recommend stylists in the area.
Where is the studio?
7071 Orchard Lake Rd, Suite 300, West Bloomfield, Michigan. Centrally located and easy to reach from across Metro Detroit. On location sessions are available as well.
Can I shoot on location instead of in the studio?
Yes. On location branding sessions work well when you want imagery in your office, workspace, or an environment that means something to your brand. Reach out and we will talk through the details and any location fees.
What if I am not happy with my photos?
I coach you through the entire session and we review images together on set, so nothing is a surprise at the end. If something is not working, we adjust in the moment. That is what the direction process is for.
How is this different from a headshot session?
A headshot gives you one strong image. A branding session gives you a library: multiple looks, environments, orientations, and crops, so you have imagery for your website hero, LinkedIn, social posts, press kits, and speaking bios without repeating the same photo everywhere. If you only need the single frame, the professional headshots page is the better fit.
